Help make Gravity Forms Salesforce Add-on better by submitting and voting on ideas and feature requests.

I suggest you ...

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

  1. Allow object retrieval and fitlering

Query and return objects from salesforce such as contact names or products and allow filtering on these values (list of product names, ids and values for products where family name = xyz or list of contact names and emails where zip code = 90210 for example)

    • Default

Assign a default value. When a required field such as company is blank/null, allow a default value to be used without setting a default in the form itself.

      • Ability to add Contact to an Existing Organization/Company

I believe it is basic logic of Salesforce (SF) is to assign a Contact to an Organization. It appears that this plugin's integration does not give that ability and so SF creates a new company/organization for every contact, but it would be extremely beneficial to be able to match a field in Gravity Forms with a Company/Organization in SF.

        • Show API names next to default fields

I'd like to be certain we're connecting the right form field to the right lead property. I'd like to see a value next to the fields that come standard with this plugin's Feed Settings. Here's a quick example I mocked up with Chrome:

Maybe there could also be a View Options checkbox to hide/show this information.

          • Add error details to email notification

When there is an error and there is an email notification (e.g. when "Notify by Email on Errors" contains an email), add the Notes field where the error is described to the email. It would help see at a glance what is the problem.

            • Add ability to Assign Lead Owner

The Web-To-Lead version assigns leads to The Queue while the API version assigns leads to the owner of the account the API connects to.

It'd be nice to have the ability to assign the lead owner in any case.

              • Add ability to create new Contact and associate to Case

Some organizations (particularly non-profits) do not utilize the Lead object and instead, associate new Cases with Contacts. It would be wonderful to do this directly with this form.

                • Allow hardcoded value mapping without having to add hidden fields.

I have had to go add hidden fields for not form data that I need to have mapped to a SF lead. It would be nice if I could add hardcoded values instead of having to map the value of a hidden form field.

Allow actual files to be added to Salesforce, not just links to files.

                    • Support Salesforce.com Non-Profit Starter

Support Salesforce.com Non-Profit Starter Pack (NPSP) fields, membership renewals, new members, volunteer interests. Non-profits need to automate online membership renewals, membership payments, and volunteer interests. Gravity forms should enable this directly into NPSP.

                      • Somehow add support for API leads to Campaigns

Likely it will require a package to be installed on SFDC, but others are clearly trying to get leads to be "dynamically added to campaigns". If this was part of the premium theme, our company would buy it.

                        • Allow checkbox /values/ from Gravity Forms to be mapped to Salesforce Checkboxes

Currently you can only map a Checkbox array field to one checkbox field in Salesforce. It would be very handy to be able to map the checkbox values inside the array to salesforce checkbox fields otherwise you need to create multiple checkbox arrays and lots of css to achieve the same thing.
